Gurucharan Singh’s missing reports have left the fans worried. On Friday evening it was heavily reported that he had been missing for over five days. As the investigation into the matter is ongoing, now CCTV footage has surfaced on the internet. In the video, the actor who essayed the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is spotted with a backpack. If the multiple media reports are to be believed, he was last seen at Delhi airport. He had left for Mumbai on April 22 after celebrating his father’s birthday, but he never returned home. 

As reported by the Free Press Journal, the 50-year-old actor in the CCTV footage is seen crossing a road in Delhi’s Palam area. Dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, he was seen at a traffic intersection in Palam around 9:14 pm. According to the missing complaint filed by the actor’s father with the Delhi police, Singh’s flight was scheduled at 8:30 pm on Monday. His complaint read, “My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 pm on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn’t reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable.” ALSO READ: SHOCKING! According to the FPJ’s report, a case has been filed under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the police are investigating the matter from multiple angles. The media publication states that Gurucharan’s friend has constantly been in touch with his family. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the friend stated that he tried to file a missing person report in Mumbai, but he couldn’t as Singh hadn’t returned. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the friend further added, “Gurucharan ji’s health also hasn’t been keeping well for the last many days, so I am worried about that. Before leaving for Delhi, his blood pressure was high and he had undergone a few tests as well. He wasn’t even eating much before he left for Delhi.”

For the unversed, Gurucharan Singh left Delhi and came to Mumbai in 2013 as he was in deep debt. He went on to work in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for 7 long years. However, he soon marked his exit to take up work in the OTT space. Further details on the investigation are awaited.
